Keep up to date with your competitors regarding Government Mileage Rates. I have been told that the latest UK Government rates will be applied in due course (no confirmed date). Meaning we have to go back in a retrospectively redo mileage claims for April and May. Competitor mileage tracker apps have already applied the new rates.

Sorry if you were informed of this incorrectly. You will not need to change anything other tha re-run your reporting, the dates will be applied retro actively for all business mileage collected at the beginning of the new tax year through to next year at the new rate. When the rates are updated in the system they will be reflected correctly. Unfortunately the rates were only recently updated after not being updated for 15 years. We will get them in the web shortly so your reporting will be reflected correctly and in the next version of the app update.
